Close proximity where we needed to be in San Jose in a nice neighborhood. The lobby and counter service made me expect very little from the rooms. The first disappointment was a queen size bed that looked more like a twin. Secondly this hotel seemed more like a motel. It seemed to have residents living there and hanging out in their doorway. Finally I had to pay an additional $20 to the hotel in order to have a king size bed. The room was the third room I looked in. The shower was dirty. The floor mat was also dirty and torn. I had to stand on a towel inside the shower when I bathed. After getting out of my shower, the towel I used was thin, small and dirty. I asked staff for more towels the next morning, I was told they had none. They finally brought me one towel and a floor mat. After my husband showered, that left a floor mat for me to dry off with. The morning I checked out I went to the office at 10:30 am for my free continental breakfast. There was no food. I asked for a cup for the orange juice machine and was told I could not have any because the machine was off. I was very disappointed and disgusted with this hotel. I think you get what you pay for really but that does not mean you treat your guest like one. The front desk person should be friendly and helpful a pleasant greeting would go a long way. To me its all about service and friendly because a smile does not cost a thing. ...read more

Clean and cheap.

Well kept grounds and updated furniture. Room includes coffee maker, hair dryer and iron/ironing board. Office staff was prompt and courteous.

I would only stay here again if I wanted to buy illegal guns or drugs because that is what seemed to be going on.

I am telling you this for a second time. This motel had roaches in both rooms I've stayed in. Is there something that can be done about this?

Neither I or my husband got a good nights sleep because of all the activity between 12 a.m. and 5 a.m.
